Alicia Testing The Boat-O-Type

The first step was to test the idea on a smaller scale. A special boat-o-type was created using a few small bottles, garbage bags, duct tape, and part of a cardboard box.

It was first tested on the Conewago Creek just up the road…and it worked! After a little experimentation and tweaking, it was clear that the plan would work. So the next step was to start building the real thing.
